Valentine's Day is a big day in our house. It's not only the day that we celebrate how much we really love each other as a family, it's a day to celebrate my husband, because IT'S HIS BIRTHDAY!
So, I always try to "do Valentine's" in our home. I always decorate...
(like I would pass up a chance for that!)
and try to make everything nice for him on his birthday.
I'm getting an early start with the chalkboard that lives above my cabinet area.
I LOVE this bee graphic from The Graphics Fairy
AND...
I love these little Valentine message hearts.
What is more "Valentine" than those things?? I remember getting those every Valentine's day as a kid.
So I thought I'd combine the two, since I'm not really wanting to display the festive color scheme over my cabinets.
This is what I came up with!
I love the way it turned out! I used EcuyerDax font for the "MINE" part of this artwork.
I've still got to add some color up there... I'm thinking pink and white this year...
If you have a chalkboard in your home, this is a really fun Valentine graphic to use!
Have a GREAT FRIDAY!!!

ReplyDeleteLOVE this! Saw you over at homemaker on a dime and thought I'd come check it out. Did you make a stencil or do that all free hand?

It was done free hand, which is actually easier than it sounds with chalk! you can always wipe out mistakes and just keep going. :) Thanks for stopping by!!
